I dream for a living.
My survival depends upon the depth of my imagination and how I harness the
creative energy of others to weave it into a greater vision.
I love collaboration and most of all, I love awe.
The moment you begin studying filmmaking is irreversible.
At least in my case it became a lifelong passion.
Perhaps that's because storytelling is one of the most powerful tools we have as humans.
Whether we know it or not, we are all at different points of realizing how
STORY rules the way we see the world...
It's a powerful time to pick up a camera & stitch together a dream.
Over the next year, I'll be teaching filmmaking through my new venture,
The Storytellers Way & will continue to craft my films on the road...
from poems to paintings to the silver screen.
Ultimately, I wish to inspire a more conscious & connected human experience through my imagery.
I hope to amplify voices unheard & stories untold & to give a voice to the visionary generation of which I was born into. Afterall, a good lens shows us that anything & everything is filled with beauty & light.
peace & love, SHANNON
